Hello pet mums and dads!

My name is Ralph, I'm 30 years old and I recently moved back from Bristol to Forest Hill, London to live with my parents and their dog Molly. Animals have always taken centre stage in my life ever since we got our first dog Bumble when I was 5 years old. At age 10 on a family trip to South Africa, this love of animals expanded to include wild ones!

We have had pets my entire life and I have always taken on a large chunk of the care giving - walking, feeding and cuddling. Due to my job, which has up until recently involved a lot of travel, I haven't been able to get my own pet, however I am thrilled to be back home with Molly (and my parents of course!). My parents go away a lot and can be gone for over a month, so have plenty of experience as sole care giver.

My career has been in natural history television production, and although most of the time we are filming wild animals, we do occasionally spend weeks in a sanctuary filming rescued wild animals. I always love when this happens as I am given the chance to get involved helping with the animals (even though that isn't in my job description). This may help to explain my profile picture!
