We offer excellent home from home boarding for your beloved dogs.

Sadly our own Wee Belle passed away at nearly 17 years old. She came to us at 6 weeks old and had a wonderful life. At 14 she was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and we were advised that she only had around 6 months to live.

I quit my job to make those 6 months the best 6 months of our lives. She must have enjoyed the time so much she decided to live another 2 years. Then suddenly our house was quiet, beach trips were meaningless and each day was just filled with sadness.

Wee Belle is now at rest in her garden forever.

I had the best time ever and decided I was not going back to the office. I realised the only job for me was to care for dogs and create memories.

And here we are now !!

And of course we provide all the love and cuddles your dog can tolerate

There is myself, Jason, my lovely wife Anne and our two grown up daughters, Jane and Joanne. Our son Paul now lives and works in Edinburgh but comes home regularly to visit the dogs.

When you visit us for a meet and greet we will discuss your dogs daily routine, behaviours, eating habits and of course their favourite pastimes. You will get to meet us all and see that our home is clean and safe.

We will try to stick to your dogs routine as much as possible so when he/she is visiting, they will feel right at home. Of course some dogs are overexcited in a new environment and may need a few adjustments. But we will discuss this during your meet and greet.

We allow the dogs to sleep where they feel safe and comfortable. This could be on the sofa, their own bed or one of the many beds around the house. We do have a dog bedroom where I also sleep if they prefer in there. Usually I wake up with the dog cuddling in my bed.

You will provide all food and treats. This is so he/she does not get an upset tummy with strange food and also not to develop any bad habits ie refusing their own food after sharing our dinner. If your dog is allowed any fresh food such as chicken, vegetables or fruit we will provide this in the manner you allow.

Our garden has lots of toys such as a paddling pool, sand pit, ball tent, tunnels and agility jumps. And as many small toys and balls as you could imagine. Should it be too wet or cold outside we have lots of interactive toys/games indoors to keep them amused.

We have many walks on our doorstep. There are farm roads and wooded trails all within five minutes from our house. I normally take the dogs here in mornings and evenings. Afternoons are kept free for special trips such as the beach, forests or country parks.

Some dogs prefer long walks and some may only manage short walks. We adjust the places and types of walk to suit your dog. Sometimes it is just a nice afternoon sitting by a river pool with a picnic or a visit to a dog friendly museum or castle. Other times you can find us up the hills such as Dumyat or Bridge of Orchy. The weather dictates where we go. But even on the wettest days we can be found at the zoo or exploring an old church.

And if it is extreme weather such as ice or too hot for the car, it is normally a day for just in and out the garden. Your dog can be in and out all day and is supervised at all times even in the garden. And first thing in morning and last thing at night before bed we encourage them to go in the garden.

We have been doing home boarding for nearly a year now. Every dog has returned or has requested to return as all had the best time ever. We aim to keep this record at 100%. You will receive daily updates and a link to your personal media folder containing pictures and videos for you to keep forever. Some customers like several updates a day and some only one update. It is up to you. Even if you want a live video to say goodnight it is not a problem. We do our best to ensure you enjoy your holiday without worry. Your dog could not be in safer hands. 

We only accept bookings via Pawshake. This is to assure you that your booking is secured and you are covered by the Pawshake Guarantee.

Our prices may seem higher than others but you get what you pay for.

We have to take into account transport costs, Pawshake fees, licensing, insurance, washing blankets/bedding, replacing toys/bedding etc and the fact we are offering 24hr care solely for your dog alone. We never leave your dog which means we cannot do additional dog walking or any other work whilst your dog is with us. Your dog gets 24hr care and attention.
