Hello! My name is Alex Stroming, and I am a dog walker, pet sitter, and house sitter originally from Washington state. I am 26 years old and have lived with and cared for animals my entire life, including dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, snakes, and geckos.
In Washington state, I spent 10 years fostering pregnant cats and kittens, and I have previously cared for elderly animals requiring special medications and injections. I worked as a dog walker and pet sitter in Chicago, Washington DC, and New Hampshire over a span of 5 years after completing my university studies. After moving to London in 2022 to pursue my Masters degree, I began pet sitting and dog walking again and am looking to expand my business as I foresee staying in London for at least another couple of years.
I understand that pets are not just pets, they are members of the family. They deserve the best care and love that a sitter can offer. I look forward to building a bond of trust with your pet and your family. In addition, spending time with my furry neighbours helps me miss my own furry family back home a little less! Alex stayed at my house to look after my dog blue and my 3 cats for a week while we were abroad.
I cannot recommend her enough! She took great care of my fur babies and sent updates and pictures every day.
I will 100% be asking her to pet/house sit again.
Alex has been an outstanding dog sitter. She has messaged me throughout her stay, giving me updates of the dogs, putting my mind at ease.
She has looked after the dogs with such care, making sure they were cool during the heat wave and even taking them on walks in the morning and late evening!
One of our dogs is strong and difficult to walk, however, Alex put the needs of the dog first and walked him - even our regular dog walker doesn’t walk the dog - so this was truly amazing for us.
Alex is a lovely, kind and caring person who I fully trust with all my dogs. This is the first time I ever used a dog sitter and therefore I was a bit nervous, however, Alex made the whole time easy and I look forward to booking her again! Thank you Alex!
