My name is Tracy and I am currently on a career break. I live in Hillsborough near the beautiful Hillsborough Forest Park and Montalto Estate. I am a dog mummy to Hari, who acts like a teenager and I have a little boy too. Hari is named after Harry Potter but I found out after I had picked that name that we were getting a girl, so now I just seem pretentious whenever I have to call the vet and spell the dogs name – ha ha.  

I have always been around animals; I grew up on a farm where we had many cats and dogs over the years. As I got older I couldn’t wait to have my own pets. I initially had a rescue cat called Koby and now I have a small dog called Hari. She is very patient with other dogs and just likes a cuddle.  

Currently, I look after two dogs on a relatively regular basis, one for a family member and one for a friend. The largest of these dogs is a Cavalier King Charles. We have a fully enclosed back garden with a high fence, lots of toys, water bowls and places to curl up. We also have quite a lot of indoor space. I would only ever take two dogs at a time. This ensures that I can give them the attention they deserve. Also, even though I love playing with them and petting them, I don’t have experience of large dogs so it wouldn’t be possible for me
currently to accept large dogs. I can collect the dog and return them to you if required but this would be at an additional cost. 

My husband works week on/week off so often times there would be two of us minding them.  

Currently, I am available pretty much all of the time until I return to work. After this, I will be available evenings from 6:00pm and weekends anytime and I can carry out home visits for walking, feeding and playtime.
Depending on the capability of the dog I will walk them up to an hour – this would generally be at the forest park or Montalto Estate. I would not be willing to take them off the leads during walks. I am conscientious, friendly and trustworthy and know what it's like to have someone else look after your dog. I will make sure to send you lots of updates, pictures and even a FaceTime call with your pup if you wish.
