About Katie
I have experience looking after animals as I have cared for my pets for the many years that I’ve had them. I have a cat and guinea pigs and I have also had a hamster. I’ve looked after dogs for my friends and family many times which I really enjoy. I love caring for and spending time playing with animals.
I’m am very flexible and I have availability 7 days a week to care for your pets and provide and any pet services that are required.
I am usually very available and can look after your pets anytime throughout the day. I will stay with pets during home visits for as long as you would like me to. I am happy to stay with them for hours, feeding, playing with them and keeping them company.
I’m happy to do whatever is needed for your pets like playing, feeding, walking, cleaning up after them and giving them the attention and care that they need.
I will always make sure that your pets are happy and well looked after, as well as trying to follow their familiar routines as much as possible including the timings of feeding and walks.
I am happy to do any length of dog walk in any area that you and your dogs would prefer. I can stick to your dogs usual walking routine if there is a certain route that you always walk which they enjoy.
During house sitting, I will be available to stay with your pets for as long as you'd like me to be. I'm happy to stay with your pets for the whole sit if this is what would be best for them. I am happy to do simple household tasks while caring for your pets, including watering plants if this is something that would be useful.
I have a car so I am happy to travel around 10 miles to pet sit, dog walk and do drop in visits to check on your pets and give them company. However, for certain services I would be happy to travel further if needed.
I’m more than happy to send photos and updates about your pets to keep you up to date with everything we get up to.

Katie has been a godsend. She looked after our two cats so well over our extended holiday, and we came back to find them happy and well. We were particularly pleased about this because one of the cats was a little unwell - but Katie took this entirely in her stride. Katie has been utterly reliable, and I would recommend her very warmly to anyone who wants their cats to be cared for while they're away. We shall certainly hope Katie is free the next time we go away.
