My pet care Routine:  Pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily and weekly schedule. Being at home full-time allows me to provide consistent attention, care, and companionship to pets throughout the day. I ensure that their needs, including feeding, exercise, playtime, and companionship, are met consistently and with great attention to detail.

My availability: I am available and present at home at all times. My presence ensures round-the-clock care and supervision for pets, providing a secure and comfortable environment for them. My schedule revolves around the pets' needs, and I'm dedicated to ensuring they receive the utmost care and attention throughout the day and night. Given that I am at home full-time and my husband also works from home, we collectively provide continuous supervision and care for guest pets. This arrangement allows us to offer a safe, comfortable, and attentive environment for pets at all times, ensuring their well-being and happiness throughout their stay.

Home Deatils:

In our household, my husband and I reside with our beloved Golden Retriever, Sparky. Sparky is amiable and welcoming to other dogs; however, he typically displays initial excitement upon meeting new furry friends before enjoying his own space. Our home offers ample space, featuring a spacious layout and a generously sized fenced backyard where dogs can freely roam, frolic, and join us in playtime.

We extend an open invitation for visiting pets to share in the comfort of our home. They are welcome to relax, play, and even choose to sleep on the couch or join us in our beds if they prefer. The only area we restrict for their safety is the kitchen, acknowledging it can pose potential hazards for our furry guests.

Our goal is to create a welcoming and safe environment where visiting pets feel at home, ensuring they have a wonderful and enjoyable stay with us.

Neighbourhood

Our neighbourhood is a thriving hub for pet lovers, where almost every household has canine companions. The community embraces a pet-friendly atmosphere, offering spacious walkways that wind along the houses, allowing dogs to explore and stretch their legs comfortably.

Situated close to Whitley Bay beach, weather permitting, we often frequent this stunning destination. It's an excellent spot for our furry friends to bask in the sea breeze, run along the shore, and relish the great outdoors.

Moreover, our area boasts an abundance of charming small parks and lush green spaces, providing plenty of opportunities for pets to enjoy leisurely strolls and playful romps. These spaces serve as ideal locations for pets to explore, socialize, and revel in their surroundings.

Home Visits & House Sitting Services :

During home visits, I am committed to providing dedicated care to your pets. I ensure to spend ample time with them, catering to their needs and adhering to their established schedules. This includes walking, grooming, feeding, and spending quality time cuddling and playing with them. I prioritize their well-being and happiness throughout my visit, ensuring they feel loved and attended to.

Additionally, I am more than willing to assist with other tasks to maintain the household. I will water plants as needed and ensure that the mail is brought inside, ensuring that your home environment is well looked after in your absence.

Rest assured, your pets will receive my undivided attention and care during home visits, and I'll also take care of any necessary tasks to maintain the household, providing you with peace of mind while you're away.

Regarding home security measures during house sitting, I take various precautions to ensure the safety and security of the property:

Maintaining a Presence: I ensure the house appears occupied by adjusting lights, and curtains, and occasionally moving mail/packages. This deters potential intruders.

Securing Entry Points: I double-check that all doors and windows are securely locked before bedtime or upon leaving the house. I'm vigilant about any signs of forced entry or suspicious activity in the area.

Alarms and Security Systems: If provided with instructions, I can manage and monitor any installed security systems, including alarms or cameras.

Regular Check-ins: I make periodic visits throughout the day and vary my routine to inspect the property, ensuring everything remains secure and in order.

Emergency Contact: I keep emergency contact information readily available in case of any unforeseen situations or emergencies.

Communication with Owners: I maintain open communication with the owners, updating them regularly on the status of their home and any relevant information.

Dog Walking Services: As a dog walker, I tailor the length of walks to suit the specific needs and energy levels of each dog. Typically, dog walks can range from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the breed, age, fitness level, and preferences of the dog.

For dog walks, I choose routes and locations based on safety, suitability, and the dog's comfort. I opt for various places such as local parks, nearby trails, spacious walkways, or designated dog-friendly areas within the neighbourhood. These areas offer opportunities for dogs to explore, exercise, socialize, and enjoy their outdoor time while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for them.
