Karolina

Hi! My name is Karolina and I'm a PhD student at the University of Oxford studying Neuroscience. 

I'd love to have the opportunity to look after and walk some dogs for people around Oxford. I have grown up with a lot of pets and have experience in dog/catsitting and dog walking. During high school, I used to volunteer at the animal shelter for abandoned cats and dogs, which developed my passion for caring for animals. I also enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors and live in Jericho close by to port meadow, which is very dog-friendly and a great location for dogs to exercise.

Being a student, I'm not in the position to own a dog at this moment but I love being around them and it helps me unwind from my studies. I have a pretty flexible schedule and would be able to keep cats or dogs at my place for <24 hours (especially on weekends). The services I offer are: dog sitting at my house or the owner's house (up to two dogs or cats), dog walking (up to 2 dogs, 20-30 mins), 1x house visit per day. For dog sitting, I will be working from home and be available to care for the pet, if the pet will be staying at my apartment, it will be able to freely walk around as I live alone and I also have a secure balcony on the first floor. Unfortunately, I don't have experience adminstering medication to cats/dogs, although I can offer grooming and basic training services.
