Hi there, my name is Monique and I am a Professional Dog Walker and Pet Care Service Provider. I am insured, DBS checked, Canine First Aid trained, qualified in Dog Training & Husbandry and a member of the Professional Dog Walkers Association (PDWA).

I have always loved animals and decided to become a Dog Walker/Pet Sitter out of a strong passion for animal care and welfare. Over the past 5 years, whilst I was at university and then working as an Engineer, I gained a wealth of animal care experience through volunteering at organisations such as the RSPCA, Animals in Distress and The Cinnamon Trust. It was when I was relocating to Devon that I decided to turn my passion into my full-time job and founded The Playful Paw Collective as a result.

I understand that animals are a part of the family and I endeavour to go the extra mile to ensure that your pets are happy, healthy and well-loved. From energetic adolescents to gentle seniors, well-being is my top priority. 

I like to think that what sets me apart form other walkers and sitters is that I will always personalise my services depending on species, breed and temperament of the animal. For example, one of my clients is a 15 month old Spaniel mix whereas the other is a 14 year old Westie. Even if I take each out for 30-minutes, you can bet that the walks look completely different. With the Spaniel mix, I go to enriching locations where he can discover different terrains and we can play scent-work games to help mentally stimulate him. The Westie prefers much flatter walks and is much happier sniffing around in areas that are familiar to him.

Before I take on any Dog Walking/Pet Care, I will always have a Meet & Greet where we can get to know each other and so I can fully understand your pet/s' care requirements. This is also your opportunity to assess whether I am suitable for you!
