I am someone who has grown up with pets and loves all kinds of animals. Currently I have a boxer and French bulldog as well as three cats and have had other dogs and cats throughout my life.
I love dog walking and walk mine at least once a day, but I also love to cuddle them on the sofa once we are home. I have run 2 marathons and am not put off by high energy dogs - I often take mine on my shorter runs to tire them out; especially our naughty boxer!
I would consider myself a dog person but I love to spend time with my cats, feeding them (especially Gruffalo who's appetite matches his name) and giving them attention. My sister has had rats and lizards in the past and although they wouldn't be my first choice I would say I am comfortable around any pet.
My motivation for becoming a pet sitter come from knowing the feeling of worrying about my own pets when I am away and being able to give the type of care I would want my pets to receive.
