Hello, my name’s Bik! I grew up in Herefordshire on the Welsh border; I moved to Lincolnshire during lockdown. My hobbies include football, netball, hiking, travel and going out to eat. 

I have a good deal of experience looking after various cats and dogs (of differing ages, temperaments, sizes and breeds from chihuahuas and pugs to mastiffs and huskies, and many more in between, including rescue pets and those with anxiety).

I previously worked in communications/marketing in the charity and public sector, most recently at Lincolnshire Police. I am currently taking a career break so I have plenty of free time and I’m looking to do something that I'm passionate about. I love animals and would take great care of your beloved pet ensuring that they’re fed/watered/walked/cleaned, and of course provided with lots and lots of love!

I understand that leaving your fur baby with a stranger is a daunting prospect but I promise that I will do my best to follow all of your instructions so that their routine is kept the same and they can have that familiarity whilst being in their own home. I will take good care of your pet, providing them with lots of cuddles and attention and I will love them (almost) as much as you do! I can send you lots of photos and updates to reassure you that they’re safe and happy whilst you're away. 

For pet sitting services I can stay in your home overnight. I am flexible with the needs of your pet and will try my best to replicate any routines they have with you in terms of wake up times/feeding/walking/toileting etc. so that they have that sense of familiarity whilst you're away. I would likely be in and out of the house during the day but would not leave your pet alone for more than 4 hours, unless previously agreed with you.

I offer services for dogs including walking (I would expect you to provide walking equipment/lead/harness/poo bags, etc. and I would never let your dog off the lead unless previously discussed).

I also offer drop-in home visits for dogs which can include feeding, replenishing water and administering oral medication if required, and letting your dog out for toilet breaks and cleaning up after them. I would also spend time with your dog providing it with lots of fuss and/or play.

Before accepting any bookings I always like to do a meet and greet, which I think is best done in person in your home. That way I can meet your pet, observe any behaviours, discuss any issues, and you can ensure that your pet is comfortable around me. I also feel that it’s important for you, as a pet owner, to have met me and ask any questions before allowing me to take care of your beloved pet and home.
