I have been living with dogs since I was a child. Started dog sitting in last two years when I moved to my own house with lovely garden, fully fenced and secure. Also, at this time, we started thinking about getting our own family dog but first wanted to see how kids are going to react and what's going to be the dynamic between them. Also, it was important for me to give my children opportunity to be around the dogs as I used to be when I was a child. I was growing with dogs, of any kind and characters. When came to UK 18 years ago, the only thing I was really missing was the connection with those 4 legged friends.
When kids have grown enough (7 and 11 y.o) I started sitting and boarding dogs at our home with a great success. Everyone is happy, Oreo has doggy company to play with, kids can choose between dogs to play with.
We are all pets loving family, with kids onboard we are very careful about dog's behaviour and before we board any dog we need to make sure they get on well.
I am only taking smaller breeds of dogs currently. This may change in the future but for now this meets the needs of the business whilst I have children around the house.
Last year we became the owners of Oreo our cheeky miniature schnauzer girl which we love dearly. She is a friendly and playful little girl with huge character, full of energy, chasing every occasion to play and socialise with other dogs. She loves and is friend with almost all dogs from our area. We are based in Romford, 3 mins from Rise Park and 6 mins from Bedfords Park with plenty of places to walk around.
Few words about vaccinations, I do care about dogs well-being and understand that not every dog is regulary vaccinated. I truly believe alternative methods such as titre testing are also effective to prevent disease spreading. Oreo, our dog has been vaccinated, however I am opened for non vaccinated dogs as long as they are covered by current vet certification confirming their immunity to the most common diseases.
As a dog sitter I offer safe and loving home where your dog will feel welcome and loved the same as our own dog. I offer regular walks ( usually 3 walks per day) in local parks (between 20-45mins, shorter during the lunch time, longer in the evenings and during weekends ) lots of fun in the garden depending on dog's individual needs and preferences, cuddles (if accepted by your dog) belly rubs and back scratches, grooming if required, brushing, cleaning paws, whatever is needed. I can administer medication if needed. They have lots of fun as playtime never ends here. This is assurance that your dog won't miss you during the stay in my house. I do my best to make them feel secure, including sleeping in my or my daughter's bedroom if needed due to separation anxiety. Otherwise your dog can sleep downstairs in the kitchen / living room or in the hall. I am happy to meet you at my house so you can see where your dog will stay.

I recently left Apollo at Maria’s house for a week-long trip, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Maria genuinely loves animals, and she kept me reassured with daily updates, including photos and videos of Apollo. Her attention to detail, such as special treats and toys, highlighted her dedication. I wholeheartedly recommend Maria for reliable, caring, and professional dog sitting. Apollo and I are incredibly grateful and will definitely return. I recently left Apollo at Maria’s house for a week-long trip, and I couldn't be more satisfied. My coco spent a weekend with Maria and her family, whilst I attended a wedding. We made our initial enquiry with less than a week to go, before the booking. Yet, despite this, Maria ensured at least two introductory sessions were had and really made sure that not only her family and puppy Oreo were happy, but also my Coco. I didn’t not feel worried in any way about leaving Coco and we were routinely updated by text and with pictures. Maria’s knowledge around dog care is quite high and she was able to guide me around some of the struggles that I was having as a first time puppy owner. I was so impressed with the care and attention offered by Maria and her family that I don’t see myself placing Coco anywhere else and hope to take coco there for a little daycare at least once a month so that she has a home away from home! Honestly I’m really impressed and hope that this review won’t leave Maria overbooked before my Coco books her stay x
