I grew up near Hampstead Heath in the 1990s, where some people used to dump their dogs when they were unwanted or became too difficult to handle. My family ended up adopting three of these beautiful, noble and intelligent animals, over two decades. It gave me a lifelong love of dogs, and spending time in nature. 

I am a pet sitter and dog walker as it's a wonderful way to break up my day, working at home on the computer, having some canine company, and spending time in the outdoors with them, getting exercise and fresh air. I have walked dogs with borrowmydoggy as well as friends' and relatives' dogs (my parents have a gorgeous Golden Doodle), and my own three dogs, growing up. 

I am most keen to do dog walking, but can also offer day sitting at my house, house visits and overnight stays at my house once I've got to know the dog, and this is something we are both happy with.

Dog walks: 1 hour - 1.5 hours in a large park (e.g. Gunnersbury Park). Maximum 2 dogs at a time, usually 1 dog. This is available every day unless otherwise stated. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays the walk can be at any time. On Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays this needs to be earlier in the day (e.g. 8.30 am) or later in the day (e.g. 4pm) though I can be fleixble if this is arranged in advance. 

Overnight stays: 1 dog per time unless they both belong to the same owner and by prior discucssion

Dog sitting in my home (day): 1 long walk (1 hour + ) and one short walk (10 minutes). This is available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when I work from home all day, unless by special prior arrangement. I don't supervise pets 24/7 as I may need to leave the house for a short period (max 1 hour as per the guidelines). I take 1 dog at a time unless both belong to the same owner and by prior discussion. 

I can deliver oral medication. I don't do training or grooming at the moment. I have two children aged 11 and 13, and a partner in the home who are also dog lovers. Guest pets are allowed to sleep in the kitchen which is large and is secure and is neither too hot or cold, and is always shady. When not asleep pets can move around the whole ground floor which includes a large hall and living room. We have a 60 ft garden which is fully fenced. In the day when not on a walk or playing, pets can lie down if they wish near where I work on the computer.
