"My partner and myself contacted Carina as we needed a cat sitter over the Christmas period and we were delighted to find that she was more than happy to pop over and check in on our cat on the days we were away. Carina was absolutely fantastic, she went above and beyond what we expected and ensured our precious cat had a lovely Christmas without us. She spent at least an hour every day with our cat making him feel safe and cared for, which was well beyond what we expected, especially over a busy Christmas period. This meant the world to us as he is very shy and loves having company. Carina sent lots of lovely pictures and videos playing with our cat so we could see just how happy and at ease he was. She also left us a lovely Christmas card and emptied our bin, which was a lovely touch. We can't thank Carina enough for her service and would highly recommend her to anyone that needs a local sitter. Thanks Carina! xxx"

His professionalism and reliability were outstanding. He was punctual for our initial meeting and took the time to ask detailed questions about my cat's routine, preferences, and any special needs.
Throughout my time away, he maintained excellent communication, providing regular updates and even sending adorable videos of my cats. This put my mind at ease but also allowed me to enjoy my trip without worrying about their well-being.
Not only did my cat receive exceptional care, but my home was also left in pristine condition. He ensured that everything was tidy, including cleaning the litter box regularly.

"Roja is amazing. She took good care of our two cats during Christmas even on the Christmas Day which we really appreciated. Everytime she comes for a visit she would send along pictures and videos. "Adrianne is an absolutely fantastic pet-sitter! He responded to my booking request almost instantly and we made plans for a meet and greet; during which he took the time to understand what was needed for my cat Tiny.
Adrianne sent me daily updates with pictures and videos and my cat Tiny, who is normally very shy took to him straight away! It was such a relief to see her so well looked-after. "Highly recommended. Laura and her mum Debbie, also on this site, looked after my two cats and clown fish for two weeks. They evidently cared a lot for the animals and sent pictures twice a day. One of my cats is very scared of other people but she soon came round enjoying strokes from them! It’s great to find people who care and I can trust to look after my pets. "

"We own 6 cats - not an easy task, but Ryan was absolutely amazing looking after all of them for 10 days whist we were away. On our return we found our cats healthy and happy. Ryan was sending daily updates on their well being together with photos. We can't thank Ryan enough for doing a great job and I hope he will be available next time when we need to travel . "Mark was everything you could hope for in a pet sitter. He came around beforehand to meet us and our cat and asked questions and took notes. He was so attentive to our cat who had never had a night alone before and we could see from the pictures and videos he sent that she took to him right away.
It’s obvious that Mark understands animals extremely well with a Dr Doolittle-esque ability and I felt so content knowing that our cat was in his company.

"From the moment I saw Rory's profile, I had a good feeling about him.
Historically, I had always used catteries, but my boy is getting old and I was worried about doing that this year, so I found Pawshake. It was easy to find a sitter close-by and so I contacted Rory.
Before the booking was confirmed, Rory came to the house and spent a good amount of time getting to know my cat, Henry, asking questions, and listening without complaint to every instruction I reeled off! He shared stories and pictures of his pets and I knew I could trust him.
I booked for two visits a day and each day Rory would come in, feed and clean up any accidents (!) and spend quality time with Henry. He would send us videos and pictures to let us know how great everything was going.
The communication was great and I felt relaxed knowing that Henry was in good hands. I would wholeheartedly recommend Rory to look after any pet; he is kind caring and clearly very good with animals.
