"Sara was an amazing cat sitter for Cleo. It was my first time ever using a cat/house sitter and she was so patient and communicative it made me feel at ease. She takes such good care of my cat and anticipates all of her needs. She sends very frequent updates and is so understanding of Cleo and waiting for her trust to play with her and interact with her at her own pace. Sara was also very accommodating towards my last minute requests and literally saved my trip! "

"First time I’ve ever needed a pet sitter due to only having my rabbit for a year and obviously not being able to travel many places this year so this was all new to me.
I can honestly say I am sooo glad I found Kayas profile. It was already full of amazing reviews and I just knew she was the right sitter for me.
Everything was new to me but Kaya was so reassuring And trustworthy.
My little fur baby was so clearly looked after and happy. It is very clear to see kaya genuinely loves animals and will care for them as if her own.
The videos and pics I received reassured me and I will definitely be booking kaya in future. My rabbit along with others doesn’t always have the best stomach and stress can put them off food hut I came home to a healthy and happy bunny with no issues at all.
If anything he probably misses his daily visits from her.
Would recommend kaya a million times over."

"Jeana is definitely one of the best cat sitters out there for sure even with such great value. Firstly she provided daily updates on each and every visit without asking. In the updates, she showed great care and attention towards my pet spending time there to calm my cat down when there are other services being held with outsiders and took the time to figure out why my cat suddenly had tummy troubles by checking if was sneaking to eat things he shouldn’t. She also no qualms immediately rushing over when I had sudden visitors and needed her there. Strongly recommend Jeana as she has provided the best cat sitter I have experienced on Pawshake!"

"I highly recommend Steven for caring for your pets! My husband and I had just moved to the UK with our two cats, not knowing anyone, we arranged a cat sitting company to look after our boys. Two days before leaving town the cat company canceled due to a lack of staff availability. That's when we found Steven! He was incredibly responsive to our request and was accommodating to our last minute situation. Our meeting with Steven prior to him watching our cats was very reassuring, he was responsible and you could tell genuinely cares for animals. Steven did a wonderful job taking care of our boys and sent daily updates, which we loved receiving! We could not recommend Steven enough and we will continue to use him going forward! "

"if i could leave 6 stars for paula’s treatment of animals, i absolutely would! i had never hired a sitter i didn’t know personally before and was so nervous as one of my cat’s has HIGH anxiety. but paula was super communicative with me and understanding of my worries. we got picture updates showing them have a great time and i felt so reassured knowing they were being well loved by paula! when we came home, it was like we had never left. :) the cats were relaxing and had clearly experienced great quality time while we were away. i’m so happy to have found a trustworthy and kind sitter on here and i would recommend paula to anyone! "Let’s just say there is a chasm of difference between Valentina and all the other catsitters we have had before. You’ll see other reviews of “professional”, “reliable” etc. but what does that actually look like in reality when you are leaving your best buddy/ies in Valentina's care? Well, for starters you need to understand that this is Valentina’s actual profession. It’s all she does.
Her experience shines through, and this is particularly relevant if you have a pet which is pushing on years, or has underlying health conditions like our Siberian Forestcat Ernie. Valentina has numerous specific qualifications in animal care and it’s obvious she is using these skills on a daily basis. Valentina turned up like clockwork every day, even when there was a transport strike.
Valentina sent us extremely detailed daily reports, with numerous photos of Ernie, his water and food bowls, letting us know exactly his demeanour, behaviour she noticed etc. It was obvious that Ernie was in the best of hands!
Other catsitters show up at all different times, give excuses for things, and we have found previous catsitters to not follow the BASICS of animal care - i.e. changing food and water EVERY DAY, and cleaning the litter tray, not just occasionally. This just wasn’t the case with Valentina. Valentina knows what is important. It’s almost impossible to find a vet nurse to petsit - so if this is something you want, Valentina is honestly the next best thing to having your vet visit. We call her the cat whisperer!"
