Marcos was absolutely incredible, and I genuinely cannot recommend him highly enough. Our trip came together extremely last minute, and we only knew a few days before travelling that we would actually be able to go. Despite the very short notice, Marcos was incredibly accommodating. He even came to our home the day before we left so I could show him everything, introduce him properly to our three girls and explain all of their routines. We originally booked Marcos for around three weeks, but our plans kept changing and we ended up extending our trip several times — I think we extended his stay three separate times! Every single time, Marcos was completely flexible, understanding and happy to stay longer. Nothing ever felt like a problem or an inconvenience. We have three dogs, and I will be the first to admit that they are not necessarily the easiest dogs in the world! 😄 Our girls are Chowskies — Chow Chow and Husky mixes — and with Huskies being famously known as escape artists, they have definitely inherited some of that independent and adventurous nature! They are strong-minded, each have very different personalities, and managing and walking all three of them is certainly not a small task. I also prepare a very detailed care manual covering their feeding, vitamins and supplements. The girls have quite a few different vitamins, powders and additions to their food, so their routine isn't simply a case of putting some food in a bowl twice a day. Marcos is honestly the first pet sitter we have ever had who followed my care manual completely and precisely. He took the time to understand everything and followed their feeding and supplement routines exactly as I had asked. This gave me such enormous peace of mind while we were away. He was incredibly caring, patient and loving with all three girls. He walked them regularly and handled all three of them extremely well. His husband also came to help him, and they would walk the girls together, which was absolutely lovely. One of our dogs is particularly shy with people she doesn't know. At the beginning, she decided that she simply wasn't coming back into the house and was quite happy sitting in our large garden! Marcos was so patient with her. He didn't force her or overwhelm her; he gave her space, took his time and worked with her at her own pace. Eventually, he got her comfortably back inside — and over the course of his stay, the two of them became best friends. ❤️ All three of our girls absolutely loved him. I could see from every photo how relaxed and comfortable they were around Marcos, and it was obvious that they felt completely safe with him. They were very well walked, beautifully cared for and, most importantly, happy and healthy when we returned. And then Marcos did something I have genuinely never experienced with any pet sitter before. Before we came home, Marcos and his husband actually washed all three dogs and brushed them! One of our girls was heavily shedding at the time, so anyone with a double-coated dog will understand exactly how much work that must have been. 😄 We never asked him to do this. They simply did it out of kindness and genuine care for the girls. I was honestly amazed. And as if all of that wasn't enough, Marcos and his husband also kept our home incredibly clean throughout their stay. When we came back after being away for around a month, the house was just as clean and tidy as I had left it for them. Honestly, this is something I have never experienced with a pet sitter before. Coming home to three beautifully cared-for, freshly washed and brushed dogs and a wonderfully clean home was just incredible. It showed yet again how respectful, thoughtful and conscientious Marcos is, not only with the animals in his care but also with someone's home. Marcos also went above and beyond in so many small ways. Whenever deliveries arrived, including dog supplies and our personal packages, he would collect them from our parcel shed and bring them in. Again, this wasn't something I expected or asked him to do, but it showed how thoughtful and attentive he was throughout his entire stay. What started as a last-minute three-week booking eventually turned into us being away for around a month, and throughout that entire time Marcos took exceptional care of our home and our three girls. For the first time in a very long time, I was genuinely able to relax on holiday. I wasn't constantly worrying about whether the dogs had been fed correctly, whether their supplements had been given, whether they had been walked enough, whether one of our little escape artists had decided to go on an unauthorised adventure 😄, or whether they were happy. I knew they were in incredibly caring and capable hands. Marcos is patient, responsible, flexible, extremely attentive and genuinely loving towards animals. The level of care he gave our girls went far beyond what I would normally expect from a pet sitter. I honestly could not have been happier with him. Amazing, amazing care from beginning to end, and I would absolutely trust Marcos with our girls again without hesitation. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a truly exceptional pet sitter. Our three girls absolutely adore him — and so do we! ❤️

I approached Marije as my usual dog sitter was unavailable, and we needed to find someone urgently because we were due to go on holiday within a week. We have four dogs, one who needs nappy changes and another who needs patience and understanding as she's a rescue dog. While it's not nearly as challenging as it sounds, I was aware that having four dogs alone might put potential pet sitters off. Marije was more than happy to help. She asked the necessary questions before providing a quote, and her communication was excellent throughout the entire process. We found her to be extremely friendly, calm, and gentle with our animals. While we were away, I was able to contact her for updates, and she left our home spotlessly clean. She was brilliant with all of our dogs, taking the time to understand their individual needs, and handling every task without any fuss. It was a relief to go on holiday knowing they were well looked after. We will definitely use her again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.
