Hi I'm George, a Third year Vet student studying at University of Bristol.
I've always wanted to work with animals but I'm still a few years off becoming a full vet and so pet sitting is the perfect combination of working with animals along with my studies. I want as much hands on experience with a wide variety of animals to help and aid me to become the best vet I can.
I have previous experience of owning a cat and pet chickens (not at the same time) and looked after friends dogs. Due to my university course I have spent over 12 weeks in a variety of animals husbandry roles from farm animals to horses to zoos. I have also worked as an animal care assistant and receptionist at a small animal veterinary clinic. This job involved admitting and handling of patients into the practice, cleaning and setting up cat, dog and exotic kennels, regular checking, entertaining/playing, feeding and walking of in patients. This along with the teachings from vet school has given me a firm understanding of animal care and husbandry.
I live in the central/southern Bristol area however area further a field can also be considered and viable as I own a car.
Overall I hope my passion and previous experiences caring for animals will make all owners feel comfortable they can rely on me to look after their beloved pets.

George looked after my dog Holly over the Easter Break 24. Very pleased with the service provided. Regular updates for peace of mind and left the house lovely and tidy for our return. Highly recommended and wouldn’t hesitate booking again. 10/10 👍
George is a really considerate sitter. My dog felt instantly calm in his presence. He gave me updates during the sit and pictures. I felt very happy to have him in my home and caring for my dog.
