Hello!
I love animals, and I have been missing being around them since moving to the UK (2020). I have done various stints of pet/house sitting over the years mostly for friends and family, and a few people via word of mouth. I often go house and cat sit for my friends who have two lovely felines in Hertford as well as keep their plants hydrated. I have cat sat for my ex-boss, dog sat my cousin’s beagle Baxter (and at the same time unexpectedly got asked for two other dogs to join who needed looking after, which I was happy to oblige) as well as looked in on other people’s pets when needed.
I have owned animals my whole life! I grew up on a large plot in South Africa surrounded by multiple dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, budgies, as well as some pet rats, mice and snakes! My parents always gave me a lot of responsibility with the animals which I think gave me a deeper connection to them. Any dogs I’ve owned I have done at least basic training with them at a dog training school – I’ve also nearly got my cats to sit for food! ;) I have my own two cats at the moment (Kai and Olly), but they are sadly in South Africa still until I find a secure, pet friendly place – currently they are being cared for )read spoilt) by my parents!
I’m a freelance graphic designer, currently also studying nutritional therapy. So I am quite flexible and work from home, so if I am sitting your house I will be around your pet so they won’t feel alone. I unfortunately can’t have pets in my flat, but happy to house sit or pop in on a pet as needed (depending on my schedule).
Let me love and care for your pets! :)
Chloe has been excellent every time we've used her! Can't recommend enough :)
Chloe saved our holiday. After a last minute cancellation from our previous sitter, Chloe came to look after our doggies in short notice and did a great job taking care of them and our home. We kept in touch regularly, which helped us know that things were going well while we where away. The sit was flawless; 100% recommended. We would happily have Chloe again for future sits, no questions asked. Thank you for your help! :-)
