Hello! My name is Steph and I am a huge animal lover. I currently live in Bulford and work for Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre in Salisbury as a Rehabilitation Trainer. I've recently registered as an approved Dog Trainer by the Animal Behaviour and Traning Council 🐶
Previously I have worked for Highcroft Veterinary Hospital and Bristol Animal Rescue Centre, a subranch of the RSPCA organisation. I have lots of animal experience and have grown up around a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, geese and small furries (hamsters, rats and some naughty chincillas)!
I currently have three little bunnies called Fawn, Fox and Lenny and a rescue cat named Bo (Bones). My experience with exotic animals is limited, however, I have worked with birds, tortoises and snakes through my previous job. Additionally, I have completed a Level 3 Animal Welfare and Conservation course, Canine Training and Companion/Captive Welfare courses.
In my current job I help look after, train and rehome canines relinquished to Dogs Trust. As such, I am fully aware that every animal has distinctive needs and am more then happy to cater on an individual basis. My services include:
*Dog walking* Walks to suit you and your pets needs e.g. length, routes etc. Ideally I would like to keep the pack small so that I can give everyone lots of attention, however more than happy to walk multiple if temperment of pet is well behaved on lead.
*Pet Sitting and Overnight* Happy to cater Pet sitting to individual client needs and this can be discussed. More than happy to visit Pet within your home for litter/cage changing, watering, feeding, grooming and playtime! Due to the location I live I can offer some pet sitting in my own home, this can be discussed on an individual basis, typically smaller furries.
*Other* Frequent pet updates via text or in app, happy to track distance and route using appropriate apps so you can monitor/see pets walking route. Can provide more intensive walks if requested for more active pets! I am aware and understanding of pets which may have behavioural difficulties and am happy to cater to specific needs, e.g. muzzle and harness for walks, keeping away from other animals etc.
I will also pick up the post, water plants and pop your bins out when you are away.
If you would like to check my availability and arrange a free consultation, then please get in touch!

Stephanie looked after our cat for us for the first time whilst we were on holiday and we’re really happy with the service she provided. It’s clear Stephanie loves animals and is a complete professional at looking after them. Stephanie communicated really well with regular updates and photos and we’ll be using again next time we go away. Thank you!
We’ve only ever left our fur babies with family or friends and I was apprehensive but Stephanie was amazing! Her care and attention to our animals was incredible and she sent us regular updates which helped ease the minds of my children who were missing their pets!
She was professional, caring, consistent and flexible which is just what we were after. I will no doubt be asking Stephanie to look after our pets in the future. Thank you :)
