Hello, my name is Emily!
I have just finished a Zoology Degree at the University of Exeter’s Penryn Campus, with a focus on animal cognition and behaviour. I’ve been volunteering and working with animals since before I started my degree, with extensive experience working at Kennels and Catteries as well as experience with small animals including hamsters and chickens as well as working with much larger animals.
I am trained in pet first aid, and am comfortable administering oral medication, and training. I understand that regular routine is imperative when training a pet, and I will ensure that I learn from you before looking after your pet what their routine is and any other specific requirements that they may have.
I have plenty of experience working with dogs, cats, hamsters, chickens and many other animals, and I’m willing to take on any challenge!
I hold a clean driving licence so am able to travel to you, offer pickup and drop-offs if required, or take your pets on more exciting further-afield walks if that is something that you think they would enjoy.
I am comfortable working with anxious, aggressive, young, and rescued animals, and have extensive experience working with anxious animals in dog adoption centres both in the UK and abroad.
Thank you for reading my profile! If you have any questions or require any references, please do not hesitate to contact me.
