Hi, I'm Julie! I have always had a passion for animals of all shapes and sizes. I have experience caring for a range of animals; from guinea pigs and rats, to cats and dogs, to horses and other livestock!
As a pet sitter, I would be able to earn a bit of money, whilst also spending time around the one thing I love most in this world - animals!
I can offer evening visits for your pet once a day whilst you are away. Lots of cats get so stressed going into catteries and much prefer staying in their home environment; with home visits this would be possible for your cat whilst you're away.
I can offer dog walks on a Thursday any time during the day, and some weekends. Please bear in mind if it's a particularly hot day, I would not be taking a dog for a walk during the day but I could come by to let them out to the toilet and spend some time indoors playing/cuddling instead.
I am a reliable and trustworthy person, who is great at following instructions. I am good at being both independent and a team player. Due to my other work commitments as a vet, my availability is limited to Thursdays and weekends for walking, but any day for evening home visits. I would love the opportunity to come and meet your pet(s), whilst giving you some well-deserved time off! I aim to walk a dog for a minimum of half an hour, but am aware that many pets thrive on routine! I am happy to care for your pet as YOU decide.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Absolute gem. Will re-book wirh Julie every time. She took great care of my girls and even managed to make friends wirh my very shy kitty. Pictures and updates on how they were doing were comforting. 5 stars and paws from all of us!
Julie is really easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend to other cat owners.
I have an undergraduate degree in Animal Science, and a Master's degree in Wild Animal Biology. I am now studying veterinary medicine at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies (University of Edinburgh).
