I’m Simon. I’m a writer and script reader and working from home over the years I ended up becoming a person people kept asking to look after their various cats and dogs (the largest being a Dalmatian and the smallest a post-minor op kitten) and I found I really enjoyed it. I’ve just done a lovely stint of dog sitting on the south coast in Portsmouth and then Worthing and whilst still happy to go further afield I would also like to do some sitting closer to home. I offer house sitting looking after dogs and/or cats if you are away overnight or away or on holiday for two weeks or possibly longer.

Having a happy well fed well walked dog is very satisfying. My family has had dogs for thirty years and I’m always looking after them. I’m a fan of Yorkie-tons who are the most sweet natured and playful family dogs. I’m also a cat lover especially of Calicos who seem especially spirited and naughty.

I will follow your instructions to the letter but within that I will spoil them rotten while you are away to have them happy in their own environment. I have never smoked and do not drink bar the very occasional beer a few times a year. I have a basic DBS check as of last October and as someone new to the site can provide contact with referees. I’m very quiet and my idea of a good evening is a string of documentaries on BBC4 or a good film of any vintage or a Gogglebox double bill on E4.
