Jacyn

Hi! My name is Jacyn and I am currently a first-year vet student from Singapore studying at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies.

I use to volunteer at an animal shelter every weekend back home for over 2 years building bonds with dogs that are tempermental due to their traumatic background. Hence, I have experience on how to safely approach, handle and walk difficult dogs. I have also done additional volunteering work during the holidays at different animal shelters including at an exotic animal sanctuary and most recently at SPCA where I focused mainly on cats. Clinically, I have had a one month internship at a Veterinary Clinic and is familiar with administering oral and topical medications. I’ve grown up with hamsters, aquariums and trained my two cockatiels as pets and have helped pet sit for my friends. 

I highly value the safety and wellbeing of your furry friend and understand importance in remaining constantly attentive to ensure that your pet always feel comfortable, happy and healthy. I am keen to learn each animals personalised needs and can guarantee that they will receive lots of cuddles, love and affection.

As I currently live in student accommodation, I can only offer walking services or home visits. I can stay for as long as you would like and will also ensure that the house remains clean and taken care of as well. I am also happy to help do any grooming or bathing. I would prefer locations that are accessible by bus and am usually free during the evenings or the entire day on Wednesdays and weekend. 

I find caring for animals highly rewarding making pet sitting a perfect part time job in earning some money as a student.
