Hello!
My name is Sam and I'm an animal lover based in Edinburgh! I'm a very experienced pet sitter, dog walker, and more. I'm a Canadian who has lived in Scotland for almost 10 years now and loving every bit of it! I am married to a Scot, and stay in a two bed flat near Gypsy Brae with a fence secured back garden and a fenced communal garden just outside ours. We share our flat with our three lovely guinea pigs, Tonks, Luna, & Mini. I grew up in rural British Columbia, where we always had a house full of pets, and still do! From goats to chinchillas, I'm happy & experienced to pet sit every kind of critter you may have!
I'm very experienced with pet sitting cats, dogs, rabbits and rodents! Guinea pigs, rats, rabbits, and chinchillas being my small animal specialties. But I love all pets! of any breed or size. I have also had experience with many different needs, temperments, and medical conditions. I'm happy to take your dog for walks in the park or have a mouse around with your cat! I'm pretty flexible on times and days that I’m available. I board guinea pigs and some dogs. All guests sleep in our guest room either on our bed or their own that’s brought. I also have a c&c grid cage for boarding guinea pigs. For my home visits, I stay 30min or can stay longer if needed. IMPORTANT INFO: My three guinea pigs are in a lifted enclosure with no roof. So unfortunately I can’t board any dog that has a prey drive. (Lurchers, Greyhounds, Terriers, etc. Or even crosses with those breeds)
EXTRA INFO: If there’s no free parking near your home, I might ask for an amount to be added to cover it during home visit bookings.
I offer guinea pig boarding in a C&C grid enclosure! I almost always have that available, so please message me even if my calendar doesn't originally show the dates. £20 a night for either a duo or trio of pigs. Includes all bedding, hay, & fresh veg! (Boarding also includes grooming! (Nail & hair trims).
IMPORTANT - SUMMER AVAILABILITY: I'm currently only taking guinea pig boarders over the summer due to availability :)
I also offer local drop off & pick up with my home boarding service!

Sam is the best and makes my holiday a proper break as I never worry one bit about my small furry chaps when she is in charge.
