My name is Erin and I'm 20, i live in Edinburgh in the EH12 area.
I have always loved dogs and I'm about to finish my course doing Animal care, where dog training is a mandatory part, this has included administration of medicine and practising training whilst on the lead.
I grew up with a rescue dog, Tilly and a Beagle, Ida!
Ida unfortunately got diagnosed with diabetes due to cancer on her pancreas which means she has to get insulin shots before or during meals, this has gave me lots of practice with administering medication and I am pretty confident with the task.
Beagles are notoriously hard to train but even as a young person I managed to do a pretty good job!
When I'm older I would love to be an assistance dog trainer or just work for guide dogs in general.
Doing pet sitting is right for me to build up my confidence skills and get lots of experience with many different types of pets!
I am happy to petsit just during the day or over the course of a few days, unfortunately it could not be in my house as Tilly can be a bit grumpy sometimes (she's an old lady at the big age 11) but I am happy to petsit from your home or even just a wee walk a few times a day.
