Sofi

Hello!
My name is Sofi I'm 28 year old, self employed body piercer & pet sitter working and living in Edinburgh city centre. I have recently moved back here after living in Glasgow for 6 years. 

My working days are relatively short and I have a lot of free time on my hands. Me and my partner lost our boy last year and don't think we're quite ready to move on completely yet. Since moving back to Edinburgh I have began walking a couple dogs and pet sitting, which has brought me an unimaginable amount of love back into my life. 

We live in a ground floor flat just off Easter road with a huge fenced off garden.  if your dog has limited mobility or would prefer some quieter time, the garden is a great option for short breaks however there is also access to lovely walking spots nearbye. There's the portobello cycle path, the links and lots of smaller grassy spots, including a fenced off dog park, so something for all needs and temperaments. 

For walks, feeding and sitting I am happy to travel mostly anywhere in Edinburgh for really any type of animals & usually travel by bike. I absolutely love cats, and cat sit regularly. I am always happy to have a little cuddle, chit chat and play while stopping in. I also have experience with free roam rabbits and have lots of experience with rabbit care + their unique needs. 

I currently walk dogs in both the meadows & Portobello and I'm experienced in walking older dogs, larger breeds and anxious and reactive dogs, as well as puppy's!

I only work a stones throw away from our home so for day care or boarding I only leave the house for 4 hours at a time and only work Wednesdays Fridays and Saturdays. My housemate also works from home and is always happy for a cuddle with a guest in her study. My partner also lives in the flat and although she works most days, she is always keen to have a cuddle with a furry baby and play fetch.

Prior to accepting any boarding or daycare bookings I like to offer a meet and greet, where you can come and see the house and meet me (and maybe my housemates) This gives your doggo the opportunity to visit the space and I have a handful of questions we can go over, about your dogs wants and needs so we can tailor their stay so it's right for them. 

I truly will treat your baby like they are my own for their stay, I have a lot of love to give and a plethora of patience. Our guests always settle in well and we only take one boarding booking at a time. During their stay I always send updates of videos and pictures so you can see what we get up too!
