As an all round animal-lover I will provide an excellent service for you and your pet. I will give your pet all the love and care they deserve whilst you are away.

As a second year English Literature student at the University of Edinburgh, pet sitting would provide a perfect job for me to help out people in the City. Being away from my own dog and missing him like crazy, by looking after your pet I would be able to feel that happiness of connecting with animals again!

I have owned many cats in the past and now have a 2 year old lurcher (whippet and Labrador cross) called Timo. He is featured in most of my photos. I primarily trained Timo and was his main caregiver before coming to University, so I have lots of experience in setting boundaries with dogs as well as giving them all the love and fuss they deserve. Timo is a highly energetic dog who needs a lot of discipline which means I am experienced in dealing with bouncy and lively dogs who are sometimes in need of a firm hand. I seriously miss my (very elderly) cats, Fifi and Webster, who I have had all my life.

As well as looking after my own animals, I have pet sat for some of my neighbours back home as well as looking after my boyfriend's dog, Arlo, regularly. He is also pictured above. Therefore I believe I have the skills and experience with animals for you to trust me with your pets.

I would care for pets of all ages and breeds and make sure I put effort into really getting to know each individual animal. Some of my favourite places to go on walks would be the meadows, Blackford Hill, Carlton Hill, the Pentlands, Arthur's Seat and Holyrood area and the Braid Hermitage. Portobello beach is also an ideal spot to let dogs off the lead for a run and a splash in the water.

As I don't have suitable accommodation to allow your pets into my home, my services would include dog walking and home visits with pet sitting in your homes. For home visits, I will feed your pet, and spend around forty five minutes per visit interacting and playing with them, to break up their day. I would also let them outside if your home has a outdoor area for them to use. My services are not only for dogs, I would happily provide home visits and house sittings for cats too!

I respect that every owner has individual needs and expectations and I would cater for every of these needs. Above all, I cannot wait to be around animals again! 🐶🐱
