Hi! Here's a quick summary first. I have:

This is Johnny, a big fan of cats and dogs! I fell in love with cats a few years ago, when I had the chance to live for 3 years with three wonderful cats. I've seen a few litters of kittens be born, helped socialise them and look after them, and entertained them - often by playing fetch with them! I had the priviledge to work from home with 3 cats sleeping on my bed, and many times, two of them would steal my office chair spot after leaving the room for more than 5 minutes. Nothing beats cosiness than a wee room that smells like coffee and a cat sleeping in the middle of the bed! One of them would demand walks around the neighbouthood, as he wanted to show off that his big clumsy 'cat' friend would protect him in the territorry of other cats.
I have always loved dogs. I have pet sat a few different dogs, some of them with anxiety issues. Running with them is a thing that I really enjoy, especially with breeds that require lots of activity. Mentioning the word "walkie", seeing the dog understand that is playing time, or when you come back from the shop and they are like "you're back! Yayyy!" - these are all moments of joy for me.
The reason why I would like to be part of Pawshake is because I miss having animals in my life. Unfortunately, I can't have pets of my own yet, and I am still adapting to living without any furry animal.There's nothing more rewarding that petsitting!

Johnny and Laura were very accommodating with our schedule when we had to find a last minute visit for our dog that we couldn’t take out with us for the night. Our 9 month Pomsky was very excited to meet them and they were very interested in understanding his temperament, personality, activity needs and food/bed schedule. Knowing they were genuinely excited to spend time with him made leaving our boy in their care easier. They gave us constant and useful updates and went about and beyond to make his evening special despite it being the first time we leave him with someone else.
Our boy was sleeping peacefully when we came home and happily exhausted the morning after.
Would definitely recommend these very thoughtful and caring couple to care for another fur baby as well.
