Hi! I'm Laura, I'm a mature student studying for a PhD, so I'm very flexible and happy to accomodate any last-minute requests for pet-sitting. My previous career was in the Civil Service so I'm also police-checked (through Disclosure Scotland).

I've always had cats and dogs in my life ever since childhood so have experience with lots of different pet-personalities, (not to mention the hamsters, mice, stick insects...) My current pet, Teddy, was a rescue cat I adopted while living in France who has now settled into Edinburgh life. I've used some great sitters for him when I've needed to go away and I know how important it is to have a trusted, reliable sitter. I've only recently started my 'official' pet-sitting service but I already have quite a few satisfied customers in the neighbourhood. 

I tailor my care to your pets' needs, whether they like lots of play and cuddles or prefer their own space. Typically, my home visits for cats (or other small animals) are 30-40 minutes long and my dog walks are a similar length. I'm happy to discuss longer dog walks or longer house visits - these could be suitable for dogs too, if your pup needs company while you're out. I can also water plants :)

Note that my listed prices are for clients in my neighbourhood (up to 1.5 miles from EH6 4TE, using Google Maps walking directions). I'm happy to consider jobs further away but I may need to charge a little extra to cover travel. Bookings over the Christmas and New Year period may also be a charged a little extra.
