My name is Michaela, I’m 25 and I recently moved to Folkestone. I work as a freelance artist, mainly from home so I am very flexible with my hours.

I grew up with animals and I have been around them until I moved to the UK for studies. I grew up around lots of kittens and we have always had a dog around. Unfortunately, my apartment is not pet friendly which makes me miss having a fury friend around quite a lot.

I have a cat back home, who is a lovely old lady now, but still behaves like a kitten and has a very special place in my heart.
We also have a dog who is the family’s baby. I love going on walks and runs with him and the cuddles? Amazing!

I have an experience with larger dogs as well as with tiny pups. Could do walks or runs, depends on your and your dog's preference.
If I would pet sit for you I’d make sure your pet gets all the love I have, and I promise I’ll take care of them as if they were mine.
I have the experience of pet sitting many cats as well as dogs. I've started pet sitting on Pawshake while I was studying in Canterbury and then stopped for a couple of years, since I didn't have the time anymore. I always had lovely experiences with my clients and never had any issues.
I read patiently through all the standards excepted on the Pawshake website and I will be doing that is mentioned in them.

What services do I offer?
Walks, house visits and overnight stays. Unfortunately, I’m not able to take your pet to my house, since my landlord would not be very happy about it. However, if I’d stay at your place, I’d also make sure it stays clean and I could do the usual chores around the house as well.

What is included in your services?
After the walk, I can clean the pet, play with them and feed them if necessary.
If house sitting, I will provide you with photo reports, I can handle medicaments and I will take care of the usual needs of your pet (such as regular feeding, fresh water, keeping the pet clean, brushing etc.). I will make sure about the safety and security of your pet as well as your house. I’ll also do the general house keeping chores such as water your plants, take out the bins, etc.

How long will you stay with the pets during the walks/home visits?
For the walks, the minimum is 30 minutes. For home visits, it is up to our agreement.

When are you available?
My schedule is very flexible. I can do morning, afternoon and evening, from 9am to 9pm.

Where?
I offer pet sitting mainly in Folkestone, but I wouldn’t mind looking after a pet somewhere in the surroundings and travel a bit. It depends on what we agree on and my current schedule.

How long would you stay in the home during a typical day of a house visit?
It would all depend on what we agree upon. My house sitting service includes walking the pet, at least 2 times a day, play time, feeding, cleaning and brushing the pet if needed. I would also make sure you know what is going on in the house so I would keep in touch with you.
