I am Nada, a nineteen-year-old international student at University of Glasgow. My passion for pet sitting started when my neighbors asked me to watch their cat each summer while they went on holiday, and I am proud to say that Siko, their cat, is more attached to me than he is to his owners due to the endless cuddles and care I give him. Also, having come from Egypt, where stray dogs are just as common as humans, I have become accustomed to petting, feeding, and generally caring for the strays in my nieghborhood. In my photos, you'll find me sitting on the street playing with Sandy and Scrappy Doo, two of the six puppies, alongside their mother, that I was caring for this summer.
My hobbies include reading, writing, and taking on new experiences, which I guess includes taking up this job. I never professionally took up a job in pet care, but I would love to start. I have watched out for my friends', families', and the streets' dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, and to be able to make a job out of it would be both exciting and convenient for me.
Unfortunately, I live in a student accommodation where pets are not allowed, but I offer up to an hour long dog walks and half hour long home visits if necessar. I live near Kelvingrove park and a few pet-friendly cafés, so dog walks would not be difficult at all. I promise to take care of your pets as though they were my own; I have a lot of love for animals.
