Studying an undergraduate degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. Living in a shared private university house accommodation with six bedrooms and a small to medium fully fenced secure back garden. The house is shared with like-minded students studying various animal-related degrees. We currently have six people residing in the residence so there is always one resident in the house at all times meaning constant company and attention will be given to your beloved animal. Due to all the members of the house studying an animal course, it is a bit of a zoo, so we have a few fellow animals including a bearded dragon, three rats, a rabbit, a fish and a dog. The dog, Zorro, is very friendly but will often keep to himself.
We are a short walk from Gloucester park and enjoy exploring the surrounding area and fields on long walks which often leads to relaxing in pub gardens! We have dog toys, food and water bowls available, as well as dog beds for the smaller pooches. We are happy for sleeping arrangements to differ based on your pets needs, to ensure their routine does not become disrupted. For the most part, they would sleep in the living room in their own bed or in my room, still in their own bed. We would go on two walks a day, a short one in the morning and a longer one in the evening. Ideally, we would only like to board one pet at a time unless from the same household.
I have experience with a range of animals from volunteering at cat shelters and a city farm. We have experience with housing dogs at our residence throughout the year with good feedback and happy woofers.
Rocco has stayed with Jess on a few occasions and has always been well looked after.
We highly recommend Jess as a sitter :)
Jess, is a very pleasant and attentive young lady. She looked after my English Springer Spaniel very well, sending me messages on how he was doing and also photographs of him on his walks and enjoying a roll on the grass. Lucky was very happy staying with her and I will most probably ask Jess to look after him again.
Studying an undergraduate degree in BSc (Hons) Animal Behaviour and Welfare with a notable module being Companion Animal Behaviour and Training.
