Having recently moved to Richmond, I enjoy looking after cats or dogs in the area while their humans are away. I mainly have experience helping animal rescue shelters with dog walking and cat foster care, and have experience with shy or special needs pets. In my family home I grew up with cats, dogs (a labrador and retriever), chickens, rabbits, sheep, you name it. I also cared for my own cat for 13 years until she passed away a few years ago, after which I turned to foster care and pet sitting.
I work in the city Mon-Thu but am still available for a morning or evening walk or home visit on those days. I am usually available all day on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays but don't have a car so I can't travel far.
Don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to arrange a free meet & greet or even just for a quick chat! I am not a professional pet sitter, but recently attended a pet first aid day organized by the Royal Veterinary College and learned more about how to handle crisis situations.
Paddy had a great time with Marlies (despite the sudden rain...) and is sleeping it off vey happily!
Marlies was a wonderful, conscientious, and reliable sitter. Highly recommended!
