Hi, I am a postgraduate veterinary medicine student at The University of Nottingham. I have always wanted to work with animals and have completed a wide range of work experience with different species. I am currently completing a PhD and am missing having frequent dog cuddles.
Whilst at vet school we have be taught all the basic care and handling of all species of animal with a large focus on dogs.
I have also worked at riding stables for around 10, as well as working at a local vet practices. I have also done work experience at farms and equine and canine rehabilitation centres.
I have done a lot of pet sitting in the past for family and friends and previously used Pawshake frequently before going to university.
I have a 13 year old labradoodle called Ben who we have had since a puppy. He is very sweet and chilled out. Our family also looks after a 1 year old English springier spaniel called Buster whilst his owners are at work; Buster is very cheeky but him and Ben are almost inseparable. Both Ben and Buster live at home with my parents whilst I am at university. However, we have 2 cats, 4 guinea pigs and 2 gerbils who live in our shared house at uni.
In the past I have also had rabbits, stick insects, fish and hamsters. I have also had 2 loan horses over the past few years.

Jess visited to meet our dog, then did everything we asked & seemed to genuinely care about our her. We're grateful to have found someone reliable and friendly.
Jess was excellent! Very caring and we felt that Gracie was completely safe and happy.
