Dogs are a massive part of my life. I starting looking after friends and neighbours pets when I was a teenager and I’m delighted I can now devote myself to it full time .
Maisie is our 6 year old spayed collie cross staffy, she is a very happy friendly girl, who loves to learn, and loves her doggie friends. Earlier this year we adopted Charlie, a gorgeous, neutered 6 year old Staffy. He has come to love all Maisie’s friends as much as she does. He is very sociable and loves to play ball, the more the merrier!
My husband and I are always ready to play, go out walking or to give big cuddles. We understand your dogs miss you and have devised games and distractions for them while they settle in. All dogs are welcome, Maisie & Charlie will make your dog(s) feel right at home too.
Steve is self-employed and works mainly from home, my full time job is making sure your dog has a fantastic, fun holiday!
Our home is in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands near the Cheshire border, and our garden gate opens onto Biddulph Valley Way, a disused railway track which stretches for miles. Some of this is paved which is useful for those rainy days! Fields also surround the area.
We have a 3/4 bed detached home with a large kitchen diner with wooden flooring, and a cosy living room with comfy settees Our garden is fully fenced and secure. Dogs are never left unattended while outside. A paddling pool is set up in the summer. Balls and frisbees are also there to be played with.
i only take dogs from the same family at one time, so I can give your pets my full attention.
We go for 2 walks each day, and have lots of ball play in the field behind our house too. Biddulph Grange is a lovely large park where dogs can have a good run and play is only a few minutes drive away, if you’re happy with this.
Whether your dog(s) are here for a day, a week or a month they will be welcomed into our family and lifestyle. It is up to you where they sleep, whether they are allowed on furniture or upstairs. We can cater for all!
I am fully licensed by Staffordshire Moorlands Council and have a 4 star rating from them. I have completed a canine first aid course, and achieved a distinction in my dog socialisation qualification.
We needed some doggy day care at fairly short notice and Sue was more than happy to help us out. She was extremely friendly and our two dogs took her and her own dogs really well.
Sue kept us updated about how the dogs were getting on throughout the day and we couldn't be happier with the service and we will definitely book Sue again.
We were so pleased with how Sue treated our dogs, she made us and them welcome and immediately we felt comfortable.
Both dogs were confident and happy and I would highly reccomend Sue, I wouldn't hesitate to leave our dogs with her again.
Having had so many pets over the years, I am a confident and gentle handler. I have experience of giving medication of various kinds. I am currently doing a dog socialisation course and plan on doing a first aid course in the new year.
