Hi, my name is Vilde and I have had dogs and cats all my life. I moved to London in August 2022 with my job where I work as a quantitative analyst. I have lots of time on my hand, and places I would love to walk/run/visit (maybe I can take your furry friend with me?).

I have experience with many types of dogs, from the small and cute to the large and active ones. My family has a whippet, a Brittany and a Gordon setter that I also spend much time with when I visit Norway. The Brittany is a rescue dog from Spain that was very reserved when we got her. This taught me how important (and rewarding) patience can be to build trust and a good relationship with certain dogs.

Feel free to ask me any questions you may have or we can schedule a meet up to see if it is a good match. The price can be discussed as I don’t do this for the money, but rather because I truly miss to be surrounded by animals after I moved away from my furry friends in Norway. I also want you to know that if I accept sitting or walking a dog my plans and attention will be centered around the dog and if I have other plans I will let you know and not accept the service that day. It is important for me that it becomes a positive experience for me and the dog :-)

I have a flexible job so can work from home and take breaks when I want. However, I normally work 8 hours per day (08.00-16.00), and from the office (8 min walk from where I live) Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I do travel sporadically with my job so booking long time into the future does not always work for me, and the same with booking multiple fixed days on a weekly basis.

I live in an apartment with a small outdoor space with fence and a three minute walk to Hyde Park. I am happy to take the dog for a walk when needed and also a run in the park sometime in the afternoon. It is good to get an active break during the day when I typically sit during working hours.
