I am interested in all non-human animals and welcome opportunities to interact with them. I especially adore cats. Petsitting is an enjoyable way to spend time, as well as a way to supplement my income. I believe in protecting the welfare of all animals and respecting their interests. As an independent person, I like to spend a lot of time away from human company, but an animal companion is always welcome. :) Sadly, my living situation as a private renter means that I am not able to accommodate a cat myself.
I had a hamster and guinea pigs when I was small, and have had two cats in my life. The second of these died recently. He was a dear old friend, whom I took in when he was homeless.
I would be very happy to spend time with any cat. With dogs, my willingness would depend on the dog (breed and temperament). This could be discussed with the owner in advance. I have been doing this for several years now and have been able to meet a wide variety of cats, as well as getting to see many different parts of Nottingham.
On house visits, I will spend at least 30 minutes per visit, but it is usually longer. I am very flexible in terms of my availability for visits. For house sits, I will commit to not spending more than four hours away from the house each day.
Please feel free to make enquiries/requests concerning the care of aquaria and other varieties of pet. I'm very happy to feed fish, water plants or draw curtains in your absence.
Having previously used Anna's services, we had no hesitation in doing so again. Her warmth and care towards the cats was obvious from our first booking, and we were very happy to find that she was still available. Our only fear is that she might decide to stop pet sitting! Thanks again Anna.
Didn’t hear much from her while she was pet sitting, but my cat was happy when I got back :-)
She definitely cares for animals and that’s the most important thing.
