Hiya!

I'm Jess, I'm 28 and I've grown up around dogs - after the pandemic I realised that a career in dog care was my 'dream job,' and I've been working with dogs ever since. I worked at a North London doggy day care for almost two years, and have plenty of experience with dogs of all breeds, temperament and sizes.

I truly love dogs, and it's important to me that they have a right old laugh at my house and be spoiled with cuddles, long walks and the occasional treat (I have a stash of all natural-treats, but will of course follow specific dietary requirements) as this not only creates positive associations with me, but it's their holiday, too! It's also important that they feel as comfy and supported as possible, which is why I ask for a 'doggie dossier' - a little 'need to know' guide to your dog including the usual info like feeding times/amounts etc, but also any quirks/fears/dislikes/bedtime rituals etc, so that we can give them as much routine and familiarity as possible. 📝🍗🐶

We usually only have dogs from a maximum of two households staying at a time, as we have both the indoor and outdoor space to create separate areas if our guests need some alone time. 💙 Bookings may overlap by a few days, but only with suitable mixes. Dogs who may need a little more TLC/who can be reactive are more than welcome, but please make me aware of this so that I can accurately assess whether or not I can accommodate their needs. We accept females in heat (please let me know so that I can make any necessary preparations) - but do not accept unneutered males or unvaccinated dogs.

Our guests are allowed anywhere in my home that I am, which is everywhere! I have a fully secure, fenced garden for unlimited toilet/sniff/fun breaks, including flower beds for sniffing and vegetable patches to dig around in. Unless they have special sleeping requirements, our guests sleep across the hall from us in my office, either on our doggy duvet, or on their bed from home if you feel this would make them more comfortable. 🥕🌷🛌

We take walks twice daily, and are lucky to have 4-5 local woodlands, estates and gardens to choose from that are all no more than a 10 min drive away. We walk on the lead, always. We use a long lead and make sure to encourage lots of play, exploration and sniffing to make the most of our walks. All of my guests wear our AirTag when staying with us, for extra peace of mind, and I do not allow unknown dogs to approach the dogs in my care. 🌳🦮📍

You're more than welcome to drop-off and collect your dog - but I do offer pick-up and drop-off in the doggy taxi (my trusty old Honda Civic) for an extra little fee, just to cover my fuel costs.
