I’ve always had pets so becoming a pet sitter wasn't a hard decision. I grew up with cats then moved to dogs (and cats) when my mum finally gave in. I worked in a vets as an assistant for most of my teenage life, and loved it.

Sadly we lost our dogs, Missy aged 17 (x lab), back in January 2023 and Loulou aged 12 (Staff) the previous year, and although we can’t commit to a dog full time, we love having one around the house on temporary basis.
We also had a cat called Gizmo, he lived to be 19!

I have 5 year old twins who love to help me care for our visitors and come on long walks with me. If your dog isn’t good with kids then sadly we’re not the family for them. My boys will treat your dog like they treat ours. Expect them to be spoilt rotten. Don't worry though, our boys will always be supervised with your pet.

We have a large secure lawned garden with plenty of space for zoomies. Our 3 bedroom semi detached offers plenty of space for your pooch. We even have an under stair kennel if our furry guest would like their own room. We have a baby gate on our stairs for dogs who aren't allowed upstairs. And we have space to crate if that's what they're used to.

As this isn't my job, we only intend to host one family at a time so we can offer your dog(s) the full attention they deserve. No sharing here.

I work part time around school hours and my hubby works shifts, so your dog shouldn't ever be alone for long. I can also work from home with notice.

In terms of walks, we never just nip a dog out. They get at least half an hour twice a day.

As I've previously worked in a vets, I'm able to give oral medication.

We’d be happy (and prefer) to meet prior to your pooches stay.
