My love of animals started when I was very young and my fur (or not quite so furry) babies, have ranged from horses, rabbits, dogs and cats to the more exotic animals such as Chinchillas and Geckos. I used to volunteer with the RSPCA, working in both the cattery and kennels, which I absolutely adored and gave me a range of skills including administering medications and understanding the behaviour of often scared or anxious animals. This time volunteering stood me in good stead to setting up my own pet sitting business as well as a great understanding of a range of animals.
I offer a more intimate pet sitting service giving them one on one attention - No walking large groups of dogs together, or taking them to an unfamiliar setting while you are away. I also promise to keep your house clean while caring for your animals, as well as plant watering and ensuring your home is secure, leaving lights on or setting security systems. I have worked as a pet sitter for 20 years on and off alongside my day job. I work as a Biomedical scientist in microbiology and the last 18 months have been extremely busy in my chosen career with Covid. I work in a laboratory testing patient samples looking for infectious diseases.
I currently own a dog (Ella) and a cat (Jacob) who have been with me since 2009 and 2012.
Due to the nature of working full time I can do morning and evening visits and aim to spend 20-30 minutes with your pet, feeding, watering, cleaning litter trays and of course giving cuddles!
always great, thanks Helen!
