I rescued my rabbit Bailey almost five years ago and he has taught me so much about what rabbits need, how difficult they are as pets, and how absolutely amazing they can be. He has free roam of my house and garden and is the most affectionate rabbit I've ever met. He has had a number of health issues over the years which this has taught me so much about how to care for rabbits but has also left me struggling to find someone rabbit-savvy to care for him. Recently, I adopted my cat Ringo from the streets. He is so loving but terrified of new people so it is very difficult to find a sitter for him. It occurred to me that this must be a problem for other pet owners too, so here I am!
Though I definitely consider myself a rabbit person, I love all animals and always ensure I research how to care for animals thoroughly before aggreeing to pet sit for someone. You know your pets best so I will follow your lead in how to care for them and would love to meet them beforehand to begin to build a relationship and to ensure that all involved are 100% confident that I will be a good match for your animal family. I worry constantly when away from my pets, so I will send you photographs and updates of your pets every visit.
Over the years, I have lived with or cared for hamsters, rats, dogs, cats, rabbits, stick insects and fish, but am confident in working with most animals. I will care for your pets as though they are my own and ensure that they receive nothing but love and protection while they are in my care!
