My wife and I are experienced dog owners and have been boarding and looking after dogs for over a year now. Unfortunately, we lost our own dog Bella in 2023 to cancer.

We both work from home full time and miss the companionship of a furry friend, that's how we ended up on Pawshake.

We have comfortable, dog friendly space indoors and a nice secure garden. 

I work mainly from my garden office at the end of our garden, which dogs are very welcome to join me in, and my wife works from the dining room in our house, so your dog will never be lonely whilst staying with us. We will be very happy to fuss over your dog throughout the day.

Our back drive leads directly onto the Cheam Playing fields and Nonsuch Park, and we also take dogs that stay with us to a fully fenced in small park only a few minutes walk away from our house.   

We ususally go for walks 3 times per day (2x 30 min AM and Midday and a longer walk of about 1 hour after work PM), depending on the dogs' needs of course.

Any dog staying with us during the day will have full access to our open-plan downstairs of our house with a comfy and cozy living room (chilling and snoozing on sofas allowed). There is also a spacious kitchen and dining room with a nice corner sofa too. The dining room extension is our favourite room in the house as it has wide bifold doors, so your dog can lounge on the sofa here too with a full view of the garden and its abundant wildlife.

If the weather is nice enough, we leave the door in the dining room to our secure garden open, so your dog can come in and out as he/she pleases. We have plenty of spaces for a dog bed as well if your dog prefers this.

If your dog stays with us overnight, he/she will be welcome to have access to our upstairs, where we have 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. We are happy to have a dog bed in our bedroom so your dog does not feel lonely at night.

We only look to care for 1 or 2 dogs from the same pack so we can give them our full attention and love.
