I am a postgraduate student at Birkbeck and a newcomer to the UK and London. I am an animal, food, and book enthusiast. But enough about me already:-)
I Have taken care of chickens, roosters, parrots, love birds, rabbits and believe it or not spiders and a couple of praying mantises.
I love dogs and cats, but I have never been lucky enough to have one although I have been around them.
The reason that I love to be a pet sitter, or a dog walker is the fact that they fulfill me with a kind of love that is hard to explain. I am trying hard to avoid being too dramatic. Believe me:,-)
I rescued a chick from his bad behaviour owner he later turned out to be a rooster. He was the best gift and companion when I was struggling with depression and antidepression medication. that is why I said earlier that my pet saved my life. Although the details are between him and me:-)
Little by little other kiddos came to my life. Then I was all much better and decided to rescue more the next one was a super cute green Brazilian parrot...
