Hi there! My name is Amy and I am a second-year student studying veterinary nursing at university. Throughout my life, I have always had a deep love for animals and have been fortunate enough to have pets such as dogs, cats, horses, and hamsters. However, our recent move to a farm has allowed us to expand our family to include sheep, pigs, and turkeys.
Given my extensive knowledge gained from both personal experiences and academic studies, I have made the decision to become a pet sitter. I firmly believe that my background makes me the ideal candidate to care for your beloved pets.
Currently, I am in the midst of my placement year at university, which provides me with invaluable hands-on experience in handling animals. This experience includes working with ill animals that require extra care. I am well-versed in administering medication and providing any additional assistance your pet may require.
Furthermore, I have previously worked in kennels and cattery, where I have gained a wealth of experience in dealing with dogs and cats who may not always be the most cooperative. Additionally, my experience extends to working with smaller furry creatures such as rabbits and guinea pigs.
Rest assured, with my passion for animals and my diverse range of experiences, I am fully equipped to provide exceptional care for your pets.
Unfortunately, I am only free during evenings and weekends due to my university commitments. During the duration of pet care, I will ensure to fulfill their requirements, such as taking your puppy for walks or providing comforting snuggles in front of the fire for your older cat.
I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your lovely animals!

Amy did her job to plan, with no problems at all! My chinchilla had a good holiday with Amy - I'll definitely be back in touch for any future holiday dates! Cross fingers that all went well at her end!
