We are a young couple in our mid-twenties from New Zealand. After both finishing our Masters' Degrees we decided take some time to travel and visit family that live on this side of the world. We have spent the last six months travelling around Europe and visiting family, but have realised that we really miss being around animals. Since we aren't quite ready to settle down and get an animal of our own, we feel that pet-sitting will be the perfect way to give us our much desired time with animals, whilst also seeing other areas of the country and providing a service we know we can excel at. We both grew up with pets and still have family dogs back at home, and for the last 5 years we have done multiple house and petsitting jobs. What started as an offer of service to family and friends soon blossomed until we had a regular rotation of pet-sitting jobs, in which we looked after a variety of pets. We quickly realised that we absolutely loved pet-sitting and it was able to supplement our time between flats or just provide us with a break from the city or a holiday destination, with animals included! What a dream! 

Since starting pet-sitting we have looked after a wide range of animals including dogs, cats, fish and even a chameleon. Our greatest experience and expertise lies with the care of dogs, and we have looked after dogs ranging from 3 months old to 18 years old, lapdogs to working dogs, tiny dogs to large dogs. We have even been involved in the training of a regular "customer's" puppy and have dealt with medication and emergency vet visits. Every single animal we have looked after has been treated with upmost love and care, and we pride ourselves in the relationships we form with the animals and their owners. In New Zealand we had a large clientele that trusted us to look after their pets in their own home, whether that be for a weekend or for 3 months. We have always been asked back and complimented on how happy their animals were and how well their house had been looked after. 

We both work digitally with flexible schedules which we can adjust to the needs of the animals in our care. As there are two of us we can always guarantee that one of us will be available to feed, walk and play with your animal so that there need not be any major change in routine whilst they are in our care. We actively work to fulfil the needs of all pets in our care and always follow the instructions and requests of the owners. We believe it is very important to maintain the pets established routine for their peace and happiness, so we happily adapt our schedule to be able to do so. This means we can provide the dogs with meals, medications and walks when they are used to. We both enjoy walking so can take dogs on whatever length walk they are used to. We encourage the pet owners to leave us with detailed instructions about the best ways we can care for their animals, including any information they think may be relevant in helping them be at their happiest whilst their owners are away.
