I'm a 20 year old student at Cambria College studying Animal Management. I love animals and I have been wanting to do pet sitting for a while. I, myself have 2 dogs, a rabbit (8 years old), and 16 fish in the pond. I currently live with my parents and siblings (12 & 16) but they all love animals just like me. As a pet sitter, I would always be gentle with the animals and treat them fairly. I will always be kind to the animal and I'd love to train them. I know some animals can take a while to learn when training or get used to their new evironment so I will be very patient with them. Being a pet sitter will help me gain more experience handling a variety of animals as I want to be a vet nurse. I have volunteered at a rescue centre where I got my rabbit, I'm currently doing work experience at a dog groomer and exotic pet shop. All my pets are vaccinated, my chocolate lab (5 years) is neutered and my Poochon (nearly 2 years old) has been spayed. I can take all animals, including small animals. We have a really big garden and I will upload some photos. They won't be able to escape as we have blocked all the escaping spots that my chocolate lab had escaped from. Both my dogs are very friendly and we have plenty of room keep the pets and play with them. My rabbit passed away about a month ago so I am taking in small animals like rabbits as well.
P.S. I normally have pre-booked driving lessons as I have my driving test in May. The lessons are only 1 hour long and my family will be home while I'm away.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Libby, a little rescue poodle was once again with Dithara and her family for 9 days, whilst I went away on holiday. Libby is an elderly dog, 17+ years and was excellently cared for- this was her second stay and I do believe she is now missing the family and their two gorgeous dogs, Theo and Tilly; she loved running around their large garden. I think she was especially attached to Dithara's Mother and was allowed to sleep/snore in her bedroom at night. I would like to say an enormous thank you for their care, as this definitely gives me peace of mind.
I collected Libby, my Mother's 17yr old little dog yesterday from Dithara and her family. I couldn't have been happier that Libby settled so well- I didn't want her staying in kennels. The garden and house are huge and Libs had her walks. Libs (dog) stayed with Dithara for 9 nights; as she is an elderly lady she has incontinence problems and likes tlc - she was certainly given that and she was a super fan of Dithara's Mum, and slept in her room. Libby seemed very happy to be with Dithara's own dogs too, Tilly and Theo . I will certainly be using Dithara again and thank them all for their kindness- I had a wonderful holiday and Libs did too.
