hey there, this is Valeria! 31 year old girl, with 3 rescue dogs back home (yes, they sadly have to stayed in Lima, Peru) whilst I'm studying a master degree in Manchester Met.University. 

From my side, I have rescued more than 5 street dogs in South America (Peru and Chile) and have also help to find them a family and new home (luckily). And also got to successfully adopt 3 of them but right now, they are staying in my hometown Peru and since I've been missing them loads, I really would love to give some love to yours, if they allowed me of course : -) 

I also have more than 10 years of experience volunteering with independent pet shelters in my hometown Lima,Peru with small animals, besides volunteering at international NGO's such as ADI (Animal Defenders International) with wild rescue big animals from south american circuses (such as lions, tiger, spider monkeys, cougars, etc) from my hometown in Peru and also in a sanctuary (Emoya Big Cat Sanctuary) in South Africa. This particular experience with mistreated wild animals have allowed me understand more about animal behaviours and above all, respect they own personal space and wilderness nature.

I consider myself as a proactive problem solving with communication skills as also outstanding attention for details and even more, if it's someone who can not talk like our babies. I promise they will feel like home away from home :)

*Dog Walking/ Pet sitting:

o I provide dog walking, pet boarding/sitting and pet day care both at my home (where we have the Hulme Park very very close from our home) or owner’s home.

o I can also take them 3 times out, as long as they feel OK. But at least 2 times a day (30min-60min walk, depending of their energy, health or weather)

o I also have capacity to administer medication/supplements to pets (solid or liquid) 

o Extra grooming to them, so they can also enjoy some relaxation during their stay.

o Drop-in visits are welcome

*More about me and times available:

o Since I’m a student, I spent most of my days at home, except for some hours at Monday, the only day where I have 4 hours of presential classes. Luckily, my husband has no classes on Monday, so our guest won’t be alone at all. Plus, I have 2 more days of lectures, but just 2 hours each day. The rest of the week, I’ll be 200% at disposition to spend cozy and good times for them.

o I’m able to supervise the guest pets 24/7.

o In case of daycare, if I accept the service, it’s because I’m fully available and very happy to care of them 24/7.

*About my home:

o Currently live in a 70m2 apartment with my husband, who is also an animal lover and has been raised with big dogs around. We rescued a street dog in Chile, but she had to stay with our family there whilst we are here. There is a large park (Hulme Park) very close to where we live as well.

o The pets can happily sleep with us in our queen size bed, only if they feel comfortable to :-). Otherwise, they can sleep in their own pet bed inside our bedroom or in the couch as well. Wherever they feel comfy to, of course.

o We have a small balcony, fully fenced, where their can go out (just if the owner allows us) to have some fresh air if they want. All our gates are safe and secured for our safety.
