Hi there! My name is Candice and I'm a second-year international vet student studying in Edinburgh!
I have been working with different animals for a huge part of my life and adore all kinds of animal species :) I have tons of experience working with dogs, cats, other small mammals and birds in both clinical and home settings. I have done plenty of home pet visits in the past and have fostered young animals many times. I am able to administer medications for your pets when needed. I am also willing to give baths and do basic grooming for your pets.
Since I am a full-time student, I would prefer dropping in once a day at a location easily accessible by bus. Unfortunately, I am unable to pet sit at my place but I would love to bring your pets out for a walk around the neighbourhood for as long as you'd like. (Do give me details on your pets' favourite spots to go to!) I am usually available during the evenings on weekdays and available on weekends. For home pet visits, I am willing to stay up to a few hours and will definitely play with your pets to tire them out 😴I also don't mind completing a few chores for you!
I am choosing to pet sit as it is a great opportunity for me to apply and practise what I learn in my vet med course and also to earn independently as a student! I'm so excited to learn more about your pet's behaviour and I hope to hear from you soon! 🥰🐾
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
The best pawsister ever! My 3 doggis love her! She was so professional!
She left before the booking was ended. I arrived home two hours early and Candice had gone home and left my puppy alone, which very much wasn't the agreement
RESPONSE FROM SITTER: I apologise for leaving early but however I did ask for permission and I thought that you were fine with it as you thanked me. I left about 20 minutes after I sent you the message and Fraser was only left home alone for 5 minutes. The reason I wasn't too worried to leave Fraser alone was because you had a friend over as well. But I appreciate your review and I will never make this mistake again. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
