Pet care experience
I have a great passion for animals (especially dogs). When growing up, my family always had animals; dogs, birds, fishes, hamsters, you name it!
Although my current student lifestyle has delayed getting a dog of my own, I frequently look after my family and friends' dogs. During half-terms, I also work as a receptionist in an emergency vet clinic, where I learned dog CPR. Moreover, I was a part-time dog-sitter for around 3 years.
Safety, trust & environment
• I am DBS checked
• I only take one pet owner at a time and only walk one dog at a time
• No need to leave your dog in a kennel, your dog can feel like at home with me
• My living room is quite spacious; your dog can have their own space and enjoy quality playtime
• I respond very quickly and send frequent updates and pictures through Rover cards
• Most of my time I am at home so your dog will almost never be alone
• I have a camera in my living room so if I do need to leave for a short while, I will always keep my eyes on your dog
A typical day
• I can provide up to three, 20 minute walks a day
• I usually walk around the neighbourhood, to the beach, Southsea Common or local parks
• Your dog will get plenty of playtime and lots of cuddles usually when I'm studying at my desk
