I am a huge lover of all animals great and small. I have always had my own pets and adore their company. Your pets will be comfortable and happy relaxing in your home while also enjoying play time. I am a 39 year old teacher and work two days a week (Thursday & Friday) so please take this into account when making requests. I have volunteered at the National Animal Welfare Trust with both cats & dogs and walked dogs as a volunteer at the RSPCA during my free time. I was fully trained on Open paw at NAWT and am qualified in basic training techniques for dogs. As I love the company of animals, you can be sure that they will be cuddled, played with, and enjoy all of the quality time that they deserve. I have grown up with animals and so I know the signs of an unhappy or unhealthy animal so you can feel safe that their health is just as important to me as it is to you. I have a full, clean CRB check and driving licence. I also have a large number of references on PAWSHAKE so please take a look at these to get an idea from other pet owners as to how I have looked after their fluffy family members while also ensuring they were 100% confident and comfortable with entrusting their little ones to me. Please get in contact if you have any questions. I look forward to meeting you.

Sarah was absolutely everything I could have asked for in a pet sitter. She came to the house beforehand and asked lots of questions about Ruby (our cat), and was extremely conscientious and professional. Whilst we were away Sarah kept us updated and sent pictures. I felt completely relaxed and assured that Ruby was being well looked after. Usually when Ruby has been looked after by family members she will cry when we return and want lots of fuss for a few days. This time she came to say hello and have a cuddle and then went about her day as usual - in my view this is testament to how well she was cared for whilst we were gone. I would not hesitate to recommend Sarah or to book her again.
Our 2 cats don't respond well to the cattery, so after much deliberation we decided to give Sarah's cat sitting service a try. Well I am so glad we did. Sarah treated our cats as if they were her own and went over and above to make sure they were well looked after. Sarah sent regular updates and photos so that we could see just how relaxed they were with her. I can't recommend Sarah enough and will not hesitate to recommend Sarah's services to anyone. My only regret is that we didn't find her sooner! Thank you Sarah!

Skills & Experience: I have been housesitting, cat sitting & dog sitting for a few years now as well as living with, and supporting a professional petsitter. I therefore have a lot of experience with helping pets acclimatise to new environments to ensure their happiness and well wellbeing. I volunteered at the RSPCA in Southridge and am now volunteering at the National Animal Welfare Trust.
I have looked after the pets of friends and previous housemates while they were away including a young energetic Border Collie & their horse. I have also helped support my mum who is a cat sitter by playing with the cats and checking homes for any health and safety issues that may have arisen since our last visit. I have had cats and dogs all of my life and have lived with smaller animals too. I was the main trainer of my large Alsation/Rottweiler cross dog and so I am comfortable and capable of keeping control of larger dogs too. I am also full of energy and enthusiasm, enough to keep the border colley entertained throughout the time that I looked after her. If you have ever had the pleasure of enjoying their company, you will know that there is quite a bit required!
