Hi, I am 23 and currently finishing my MA degree and mostly working from home. I've been doing pet sitting for about 1yr now and I love it! I usually take care of small/medium size dogs and cats. I live close to Canary Wharf in a semi detached house with 2 floors with a medium size garden. I also have a park 10 minutes away from home for walking and a completly fenced garden in the back.

My motivation to be a pet sitter comes 100% from my sincere love for animals. I was raised having animals around my house and I love doing it. I do not own any animals and do not take care of more than one animal at a time.

Services: boarding at home. If you live close to my area, I can come and pick it up, otherwise please bring it to my address as I do not want to stress the pet too much on my first encounter with them with travelling. Also, I think longer periods (2/3 days) make more sense as the pet will be a bit stressed to stay in new spaces over shorter periods. If you need to leave your pet over the weekend I recommend you to bring them from Friday and maybe take them on Sunday. This obvious depends on the pet and your past experiences with boarding.

I update my availablity calendar according to when I can work from home and have a few days off so when I will be taking care of your pet please do not worry about them spending time alone. I will be by their side during the whole period. This means, waking up and feeding them, going out on a walk in the park in the morning, going back and staying indoors/ garden, feeding them again in the evening and then having a last walk in the park before sleep. I usually spend around 45 minutes in the morning/evening on every walk. I can of course personalise this according to your pet's needs as each animal is different.

In the past, I also took care of dogs with anxiety and I have some experience of dealing with their anxious behaviour. I am very calm as a person and will treat your baby with as much care as possible, never leaving their side if I have to.

I also have experience with giving pets oral medication such as pills. I have experience with this for both dogs and cats and I know how to trick them into getting their medication on time! :)

I need to also mention that I live with 2 roommates (my best friends!) and they both love animals. We all have around 24 years and both work hybrid so the house is never empty. They both have their own rooms and we only meet in the common room upstairs.

Moreover, this obviously depends on the pet but I am more than ok with the pet sleeping on the bed with me. I also took care of pets that preffered to sleep next to my bed on a mat and that worked perfectly fine.

I can only take vaccinated pets. I would prefer dogs that are not very loud as I live in a detached house with an old couple next to me.
